Class 2

SCM Class Alarm System is the new name for the former security class 2. This security class consists of an SCM certified immobiliser (formerly Class 1) supplemented by an alarm system with intrusion detection and alarm.

With this burglary detection you protect your car extra well. The perimeter detection ensures that the car doors, tailgate and bonnet are secured. When opening the car (bonnet, doors or tailgate), the alarm system (siren) goes off and the flashing lights come on.

The alarm system is not linked to the alarm centre and does not switch off automatically when you unlock the vehicle. The alarm system in your vehicle should therefore still be switched off by yourself. It is permitted to have the alarm system switched on automatically.
