SCM / VBV

Kiwa SCM
Kiwa SCM is the certification organisation when it comes to vehicle and machine security, Kiwa SCM supervises the quality of the monitoring systems used and the quality of the installation company.

Control questions Class 5 Kiwa / SCM Vehicles:

Does your vehicle already have a class 3 alarm including certificate? Please note that imported cars often have the alarm but do not yet have the Dutch certification on them. This must first be done before a tracking system is installed (or simultaneously with installation of the Class 5 system) A Class 5 VVS+ system consists of a Class 3 alarm with certificate + a vehicle tracking system with certificate.
Installation at a car dealer is often hundreds of euros more expensive while the system installed is exactly the same (make / type etc.) as the after-market tracking systems.
If it concerns the latest model of car, always ask the installer if he has made an installation on the same model before.
Make sure you are aware of the possibilities of the tracking system when it comes to personal use. There are big differences between different suppliers here.
It's about the choice of installer, not at product level so ask for references.

Class W1 / W2 / W3 for protection of machines:
The protection of machines on the basis of the class classification of the SCM.

Class W1
This system is an immobiliser which controls the blockage based on the fuel supply or hydraulic circuit + the interruption on the starter circuit. Class W1 has a minimum attack resistance of 5 minutes.

Class W2
This system is an immobiliser which controls the blockage based on the fuel supply or hydraulic circuit + the interruption on the starter circuit. Class W2 has a minimum attack resistance of 15 minutes.

Class W3
This is a tracking system that meets the requirements of regulation TT04 in combination with an immobiliser that regulates the blocking based on the fuel supply or hydraulic circuit + the interruption on the starter circuit.

It is preferable to have a Class W1 / W2 / W3 system installed by an Agricultural Mechanization Company with knowledge of your machine. There are plenty of suppliers who install a tracking system without having the necessary knowledge of the machine. This causes problems more than once.

Are you looking for a Class W2 or W3 system for your machine, please contact Dejavu Cars.

Vessel tracking systems Class 3 VBV/SCM
For some time now, Class 3 EBV 01 (and EBV02) for vessel tracking systems is no longer supported by the VBV / SCM. The CCV now monitors the standards and has decided not to create a new certification standard for vessels/boats for the time being.
